Lemon

Lemon is originated in Asia and was unknown by the Greeks and Romans. It was first mentioned in the book about Nabathae agriculture, towards the 3d or 4th century. Its culture was not developed in the West until the Arabs conquered Spain, and then it spread throughout the Mediterranean coast where it is extensively cultivated due to the mild climate, for domestic consumption and export. Citrus or lemon, a lemon tree, is a small evergreen fruit tree that can reach more than 4 m in height. The fruit is an edible lemon with acid flavour and extremely fragrant, used in the consumption.
